Para ele, o IFMG, assim como os outros Institutos Federais, foi uma das melhores implementa\u00e7\u00f5es que os governos j\u00e1 fizeram. E comenta que est\u00e1 na g\u00eanese dos Institutos o ensino t\u00e9cnico e essa verticaliza\u00e7\u00e3o e aproxima\u00e7\u00e3o dos setores produtivos. O IFMG, por exemplo, tem um potencial grande, dada sua posi\u00e7\u00e3o estrat\u00e9gica no Estado de Minas Gerais, tem um potencial de ser catalisadora de mudan\u00e7a e dos setores produtivos. Na sua avalia\u00e7\u00e3o, o IFMG deve estar conectado \u00e0s empresas, ao setor produtivo, e sempre no sentido de m\u00e3o dupla, n\u00e3o como subserviente ao setor produtivo, mas como parceiro que contribui e atende \u00e0s demandas e desafios desse setor produtivo. Para Robson Ferreira, o principal papel do Instituto \u00e9 ent\u00e3o trabalhar com a m\u00e3o de obra t\u00e9cnica e tecnol\u00f3gica e ser agente de transfer\u00eancia de tecnologia, ou seja, formar m\u00e3o de obra t\u00e9cnica e tecnol\u00f3gica alinhada ao setor produtivo e ser um grande transferidor de
